How much do you try to increase you dumbbell curl weight every month?

Another dude started this thread about bench. So I thought it would also be interesting to see how much people add on their dumbbell curl weight each month. I will be honest sometime it takes me two month to go up five pounds(because they are increment of 5s) on my dumbbell curls sometimes even longer is that normal?

I mean I don't know how long it is going to take me to get to the 50s. But I will keep trying.
 
Here's a trick. Do 1 or 2 sets at the heaviest weight you can handle for 6 reps. Eventually usually 2 weeks later you'll be able to do 7-8 reps then add more weight and aim for 6 again. This builds mass and increases strength...trust me...
 
i try to go up 5lbs per week........ form will tell me how much weight i need for the next week........

good form - 5 more lbs

bad form - drop 5

ok form - stay the same.
