how many of you under 10% BF guys were ever overweight

I was about 28% bf at 230 when I started working out seriously again. I was 24 y/o. Over about a year and a half I dropped down to 177 and 5%. That was all diet. NO CARDIO or AAS. Its easy. If you want to do it you can. It takes knowledge and discipline. I took in less than 25grms of sugar a day. I avoided white flour and starch. No soda of any kind either. That was it.
If you want to do it... do it! Thats all it takes!
BTW... I started taking in shakes after I hit 177. Talk about a rebound effect. I was putting on 10lbs of muscle every 6 months for a year and a half after that. I got stuck at 207 at 6%. Thats when I started with AAS. Small amounts. I still don't go crazy today and I still grow.
How did a typical day of eating look for you when you were dieting??

I started at a very low fat%, then with powerlifting I got fat and muscular (about 25%), now I am back to about 8%. What I noticed is that I don't have nice abs, because the (paper thin) skin is too flabby from the belly expansion of the past. Anyone else has that problem?

Dude that is pretty much with me right now!!! I always been doing bulk since I graduated high school yeah I look big and all right now 250 with 16% body fat but I want to look nasty veins, I guess I would start doing a cutter!!!. This is the problem with me everytime I start to cut down I loose strength and I hate it!!!! so next time I would do a cutting cycle so I wont have to loose strength and get leaner

Since you're in the same boat that I was back then, I would avoid the mistakes that I made. I tried so many different diet methods and ended up losing a ton of muscle. Yeah I got leaner, a lot leaner, but I was small. Once I learned the basics of physiology and biochemistry and how everything ties together, I made quick and substantial progress w/o the loss of lean body mass. And this was w/o AAS. I didn't start AAS until I was 27. I did a photo shoot when I was 22 and I was at 5% BF. I was considering fitness modeling back then and had everything set up to go to Miami, but decided I'd rather play division I college hockey and beat people up!LOL! ;) I've never regretted my decision.

what do u need a tummy tuck????-you had to be alot more than 25% then to have that much extra skin-unless you have very poor elasticity-how old are u

what was your total weight loss from 25% to 8%

No loose skin from when you were 28% bf? I was around that and now I'm down to 180 with a lot more muscle but when I bend over my stomach looks like one of those wrinkly ass dog's faces. I've also gone down to 158 and my stomach wasn't any flatter than when I was 20 lbs heavier.

again how old are u- and were u a very flabby 28% or a muscular bulky 28%

definitely flabby. Really weak and inactive. I remember going to the gym and having a hell of time benching 85. My friend was able to do 25s on both sides and I thought he was hercules. I was 16-17 when I lost all the weight.

I think I don't need a tummy tuck, the skin is not very tight but certainly not hanging and no stretch marks around my waist. I was 25% at 240, then 5% at 200 and now 8% at 220. BTW I am 34 y/o.

I am surpised 40lbs for a BB is by means drastic weight loss-your skin should have shrunk back-how quickly did u drop the 40lbs-that is key-drastic quick loss does not allow for the skin to tighten slowly-how tall are u???

Some people's skin does not shrink like others. I've seen countless examples of this. Even after years of staying lean, the skin tightens up very slowly.
