has anyone ever tried a bicep workout like this?

it was a friday night, whole gym to myself. Litterly.
Was doing an odd and end day, decided to make it a quick bicep workout... In the last 8 years or so ive been training, my arms have never been so crippled, dead and sore in years.

anyways All I did was a total of 12 Sets. Since I had the entire gym to myself I decided to take advantage of the entire gym and equipment. So I did 8-10 reps 1 set each of the following.

8-10 reps X Incline Dumbell curls
8-10 reps X Preacher curls
8-10 reps X Standing hammer curls
8-10 reps X Bicep curl machine #1
8-10 reps X Single Arm hammer curls on preacher bench
8-10 reps X Rev grip cable curl
8-10 reps X Standing barbell curl
8-10 reps X Hammer strength Single arm
8-10 reps X Cable Rope
8-10 reps X Single arm curl on preacher bench
8-10 reps X Bicep Curl machine #2 (3 different curl machines at my gym)
8-10 reps X SIngle arm concentration cable curl


I know if you were to do this during peak hours, you would look like an asshole all over the place. It does look like a shit load of over training on paper. but its really only 12 total sets. It was definatly the craziest burn I have had in years. Kept the muscles guessing and not getting use to one thing thats forsure. Will do soemthing like this ever few weeks to switch stuff up from my normal routine.
 
How long was ur rest between each set?

What is your goal? I would think that this plan would make them tone, and definitely have inference. But imo, they won't grow this way.

I usually do the normal 3 excersises and 3-4 sets of each...
this was just out of complete bordem, and the fact that no one in the gym. It wont be my go to workout... I did it to change it up for an evening. have the muscles guessin. it was only 12 sets. Most people in my gym do a good 15-20sets.

wont be doin this every week... but it was definatly kick ass to beat the fuck out of your muscles never had them beat and felt so beat before in just 12 sets. I did my normal 60 second rest inbetween. I dont sit there with a stop watch, I take a break long enough to catch my breathe, have a drink of water.... if you are ever bored, give her a try... I didnt plan it out. when I got the gym I was like I wanna try 1 set of whatever random bicep excersise i could think of. I basically made a big circle around the gym.

Definatly a good workout, to change and shock the muscle, if you are bored of doing the same workout week after week, year after year... my arms been stuck at 21" for a good 3 years. first time they have been sore in ages.

And mine you its pretty much impossible to over train on the cycle im on as well lol.
 
Freckin nice man. I love when things like this happen. Just a spur of the moment thing turns into a killer workout. My best workouts have been just spur of the moment like that and out of nowhere, good job bro.
