ya look for high protein cheap meals.....buy egss by 48 .... then make them in the mircor wave with one of those plastic things ....called the "Egg Caddy"
 
what kind of deals do you guys get on tuna. today i was seeing 2 cans for $1 but thats not even 100grams of protein.... i can get a lb of ground beef for $1 though......

That's probably 80/20 beef though (i.e. far too high fat, look for something along the lines of at least 96/4) The great thing about tuna is it has almost zero fat (usually less than 1gram/can anyway). The bad thing is it gives you nasty mercury poisoning if you eat too much...I should know.

Tuna is always 45cents a can at Wal-mart.

I found it last week at Bi-Lo for 25cent a can for Bumblebee.


Needless to say, I stocked up.
 
I think cat food is cheaper than tuna. But they never post the nutritional info on the cans. I always wondered........
 
I only buy either bumblebee or starkist tuna, usually around 50cents on sale.... the generic ones alwasy seem to have some squishy mystery stuff in it and smell kind of gross...

I used to know a girl that would only eat that white albacore stuff... what a pain in the a$$
