I've been taking 3grams a day of racemic, or when available, 1-2 grams of R-ALA, per day, divided among meals.
At first, the ALA seemed amazing. I could all the carbs at one meal without a bloat or sig. weight gain. However, the effect has seemed to plateau during the last 3 months.
So, it was effective 3 months and not very effective 3 months.
Any ideas or counterpoints?
