I posted this on another board as well but let's see what the good folks at EF have to say.

I seem to be plateaued with my diet but I'm not sure what else I could do. I would like to lose another 10lbs of fat. Here's what my diet is right now.

Breakfast: 7am
6 egg whites, 1 yolk
1/3 cup of oatmeal

Mid morning snack: 10am
Protein shake
handful of almonds

Lunch: 12noon
6-8 oz of chicken, lean beef or fish
1 can of peas & carrots or serving of steamed vegetables

Mid afternoon: 3:00pm
Protein shake
handful of almonds

Supper: 5:30pm
6-8 oz of chicken, lean beef or fish
serving of fresh or steamed vegetables

Workout: 7:00-8:30 roughly
After workout meal: 8:30pm
Protein shake mixed with approx 10 oz of orange juice
1/3cup of oatmeal (dry) mixed with apple sauce(unsweetened)

I started taking Albuterol about 2 1/2 weeks ago, and I noticed a quick drop of about 4-5 lbs, in about a week, which brought my weight down to about 176. But then in the last few days I've noticed my weight seemed to have jumped back up to 181 and seems to be stuck. Right now I'm taking 12mg of Albuterol /day. I'm also taking some Omega 3-6-9, and a multivitamin.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm no expert but a really good bro, who helped me with my diet.

Told me to eat at least every 3 hours apart.. and that the minimum time inbetween was 2 and half hours.. that eating every 2 hours would be something you'd do more for growth then loss.

and that every 3 to 3 and half hours between meals was ideal for kicking up that metabolism.

Also what are calories? perhaps if you added a few calories in certain areas it would help bolster your metabolism a bit.

I know it would be almost impossible to move that second snack anywhere, because in either direction you're eating after 2 hours, but I think if you could find a way to eat every 3 hours instead that might help.

seems like a pretty clean diet though, the only thing I'd be slightly concerned with is the amount of cals you're getting, because it might just be to low.

another thing that might help alot with burning fat is doing cardio after a workout for say 10-15 minutes I hear that does wonders.

just some suggestions, but again I am no pro, I just noticed that no one had tackled this one yet. :)

No carbs before you work out?

You need proper food after training IMHO, protein shake then another meal.

What time do you go to bed?

How many calories are you eating?

Do you know the breakdown of carbs/fats/protein?

Your body adapts to albuterol after about two weeks BTW, beta-2 regulators antagonists, happens with all of them, then rebound.

I would say far too many shakes, the body does not register liquid calories the same way it registers real food.
