Damn good Natural Bulking Diet..If I must say so myself.

Bros,
I have thought long and hard about this new bulking diet and have presented it here for you to critique/use. I recently dieted down to 6’3”, 180 pounds, 7% bf (fyi 22 years old). I am now at 8.5% bf and 187 pounds. I am a hardgainer/ectomorph and am going to implement this plan next week. I will continue doing cardio 3 to 4 times a week in the morning on an empty stomach and will be alternating between 40 min of running at 75% of MHR and interval training. Meal 1 will be composed of protein fat with distance and protein/dextrose after interval training. I’ll will be weight training 4 times a week. Other than that, this is how it’s going to go. See what you think.

I am going to want to increase the calories to around 3500 in a couple of weeks. Do you suggest I do this through protein, carbs, or fats? Also, on Saturday, I’m going to have a cheat day and on Sunday I am going to have a no carb day. I am doing both of these to shock my metabolism. Thanks for any and all help bros.
 
I may be seeing things wrong but between all that cardio and low amount of carbs this doesn't look like ur typical bulking diet. This looks like the opposite. For bulking i would say throw more carbs in. Between ur bf and hieght i would consume everything i could hold down. Bumps for more insight!!!!!
 
I realize that I need to get my calorie figure up to about 4000, but want to do it over the next few weeks. Carbs up? I might agree, but am looking forward to more reponses. Also, what do you think about the bananas and honey in the diet???? FYI, I do want to retain as much of my cuts as possible, especially since im in the middle of summer in florida. :-)
 
Bananas are a great source of potasium and are a must in my eye's. As for the honey unless u like the taste of it i would only use honey when drinking tea but hey that's just me. Bulk = lots of good food
 
i would agree, this looks exactly my percentages on my cutting diet. i have heard of bodybuilders on this type of diet year round with good results, though. just increase the amount of calories for bulking. i myself like to be around 60 per carbs, 30 percent prot, and 10 percent fat on my bulking diet.

Thanks for the responses bros. I'm going to keep bumping up the calories week by week with extra carbs prodomintaly. Just going to closely monitor fat gain and adjust accordingly.
 
Looks very clean but I would get the calories up especially at your height and weight. You are pretty lean so the extra cals are not going to hurt you.

I realize its extremely difficult. But I also strongly believe that with extremely clean eating, proper supplementation, and cardio a few times a week you can keep your bf% the same while adding muscle.
