Alright guys, I've gotten this setup right now and I know it needs work because it's only 2000 cals. I need around 2500-2800. Any suggestions on what to add would be GREAT. Also please critique what I've got so far.

Meal 1
2 Scoops Whey
1 Cup Oats

Meal 2
4 Eggs

Meal 3
2 Scoops Whey

Meal 4
4 oz. Extra Lean Ground Turkey
1 Cup Italian Cut Green Beans

Meal 5
5oz. Tuna in Water

Meal 6
4 oz. Extra Lean Turkey
1 Cup Italian Cut Green Beans
2 Tbsp. Natural Smuckers PB

Meal 7
1 Cup Cottage Cheese

Breakdown:

Cals: 2000
Pro: 50% (243)
Carbs: 21% (100)
Fat: 30% (64)

I'm going to be running Tren/Test while on this diet as well.

Ehh??

I am no guru but I do have some common sense knowledge. The bottom line is you need a lot more meals like 4 and 6 and a lot less meals 1, 3, 7 and something to go along with meals 2 and 5. Every meal should include a protein and a fat or a protein and a carb, you should try and pull all the dairy out if you're cutting (cottage cheese) because it will keep you smooth, you also want to try and minimize the shakes as much as possible (it is not always possible i know better than anybody..and i would still keep it in post workout), because your body wastes a lot less energy trying to burn liquid calories rather than whole foods.

alternate extra lean turkey with extra lean chicken, chicken breast, extra lean ground beef, tuna, etc. and keep teaming up with your veggies and also yams and brown rice

Also recommend as a good fat on the go almonds, almonds are great. Also any meat u can put on a bed of lettuce or baby spinach and throw on a tablespoon or two of extra light virgin olive oil and a tablespoon or two of vinegar. Olive oil is a great fat source.

Rather than cottage cheese before bed I would suggest ANPB.

So there u have it. More meals that include a real meat and a fat or real meat and a carb and more and more varied veggies. Less shakes, less dairy, and you need a good postworkout shake i dont see anything listed.

I agree, add in some more meat and add in some broccoli as well. It is a super food and will help you.

Just curious why ANPB instead of cottage cheese kabeetz?

Dairy is usually considered a no-no on cuts because it gives your skin a smooth look instead of a dry look and can bloat.

Some people are not affected by dairy, you should experiment yourself see if you notice a difference.

Both cottage cheese and anpb take a long time to digest and therefore anpb would be a good before bed replacement for cottage cheese.

i agree with most of what kabbie said :)

other ideas below to get cals up

increase portions, add some healthy carbs & fats...

Bunny *IS* an experienced diet "guru", so listen to the wisdom whatever pearls of wisdom she sends your way.

Thanks kab and Bunny, I really appreciate the feedback.

Quick question Bunny...since I saw where you said I need to add fat/carb sources to certain meals can you give me some suggestions for good fat and carb sources to put in there?

Also, should I replace the 1 cup cottage cheese with 1 tbs ANPB?

Things I would use:
Carbs - brown rice, yam, oatmeal, sweetpotato
Fats - Walnuts, Almonds, All Natural Peanut Butter

In the evening? I would opt for protein & fat before bed, but Im picky.

No Carb Low Carb Shake + PB perhaps?
VPX Zero Carb is my flavor of the month right now, chocolate & I blend it with ice & water and it makes it thick.. its good.
