I like to cook all of my food for a week or two at one time. the problem is that once it's cooked, chicken breast won't last an entire week (definitely not two weeks). If I cook the chicken on Sunday, can I put the cooked chicken directly into the freezer and then just defrost the amount I need on a daily basis? If so, once I take it out of the freezer, how long will it take to defrost and how long will it last in the fridge once defrosted? thanks!
