cant increase strength on legs........

i have been lifting legs for a while without any increase in strength on squats, they are always just as hard, and it seems lately that they are getting harder and im getting weaker on them, do u think i should do less exercises on them and just concentrate on strenght, i was thinking of just doing like 4 sets of 5 for quads once a week on squats, and 4 sets of 10 stiff legged deadlifts for hamstrings, will tihs break my plateua or is htis much too little, anybody?
 
u may be training them too much bro. (overtraining) or not eating a proper diet. training is good. but only if u balance that out with proper nutrition and adequate recuperation.
 
A break off, change in diet (not enough calories, or just change your routine.

My personal routine
5 sets of squat 12-15 reps
3 sets clean and jerk
2 set leg ext
2 sets leg curl

100m wind sprints 4-8 (get ready to puke)

about 40 minutes
 
swap your first exercise to somthing else for about 3 weeks...... do leg presses first for 3 weeks and then switch back.

it sounds like your central nervous system is on overload and slowly shutting down.

here is my routine right now:
squats 4 X 12, 8, 6, 4
hack squats: 4 X 12, 10, 8, 6
unilateral leg press: 3 X 8, 6, 5
stiff legged deadlifts: 3 X 10, 8, 6
lying leg curls: 4 X 10

i am doing unilateral on leg press b/c i did bilateral for a long time, i have been doing squats firtst for a long time maybe i need do do something else first for a little bit, also i think my problem is taht i havent cycled intensity really after i read that article by dave tate at that testoserone website, i hhave always done about waht im doing now, i think i might go to 4 X 4-6 reps, what do u think about that?
