Caloric restrictions -- How LOW can you go?

Very good indeed! Yesterday I saw an obese man in our gym who did not cardio, he was only doing strenght training. And he was VERY, impressively strong! :) He was so fat he had to sit the wrong way around on the latpully, but the weight he used (with good form) :p I hope he has a good diet ... Will keep an eye on him the coming time and see how he progresses.

I truly and unequivocally believe weight training is absolutely necessary in physical fitness. I think not only does it provide physical benefits..it also provides mental benefits..such as self esteem. I feel great when I'm lifting..and after I squat..I feel like I can pull a tank. God knows I can't..but my body feels good enough to. It makes me feel great all day.

I had a trainer in the gym offer to go through a work out with me because he liked watching me lift. He offered to go through my routine and help me define goals and fine tune my program..or perhaps he's just coming on to me..who knows. ;)

Currently my goal is to simply lose body fat and maintain lean body mass.

I love lifting..truly. I tell every woman who has body issues to LIFT HARD and LIFT HEAVY.
