Bad Circa Max Day

Well last week I did 435+blue and greens 5 sets of 2, this week I did 455+blue and greens 3 sets of 1 then 2 doubles , CAN"T explain how pissed I was. First on Monday I tried a Frantz Canvas suit on with a belt, worked up to an easy 675 then put the straps up to see if I could get low, COMPLETELY relaxed in the bottom position and was about 2 inches high . The suit only locked up and provided NO rebound with my stance and came up slow as hell, (we were supposed to take it easy) then today I put on a Boss suit and was suprised how strong it was, problem was my shoulder was screaming and last night I took a bad shot in my thigh so could barely bend my leg this morning, which made me squat like CRAP. Tried training and told myself it wasn't that bad,WRONG! Now the wait till the meet comes, and I will unleash HELL when I lift, enough screwing around, time to be disciplined and kick ass. :mad: :destroy: lift smarter-harder-take more shit-eat all the food. EAT SLEEP GET STRONG!
 
did you work up to 675 with blues and greens? and down to a box?

you dont get rebound out of a canvas. you only get support really. that's why you need a really strong ass to start the lift and a stronger back to finish it. it is totally counter-intuitive to all pre-westside training i did.

also, you squatted HEAVY on monday and then tried again today??? no wonder you are burnt.

take it easy bro. you sound like me... wanting to go heavy on the squat and with gear way too often.

No it was just the 675 for free squats trying the suit on, part of my problem is a strong back and average hips. Wasn't really my idea to go so heavy, f@#ckers tried to get me to put another plate on. Of course that's ok with them, they squat way more. Just figuring out my gear at the last minute.later.
 
Dude, we all know you are strong. But the hardest thing is to know when you have reached YOUR point. I know its probably hard to say no to those guys but you gotta go with your GUT. We all know that this was just a bad day and you WILL come out and SMOKE these weights. Don't stress, this is YOUR day to SHINE!!
