Back workout 4-28-03

Barbell Rows

135x10, 225x10, 275x8, 305x6, 315x3 -- starting to get back to the upper weights... been taking it easy on my back the last few weeks.

Deadlifts

135x10, 225x10 (both fast sets), 275x10, 315x8, 375x6, 405x3 -- felt good... and solid... wrist hurt though, alot.

High Face Pulls 2 sets @100 x 25
Lat Pulldowns 3 sets @210, 250, 250+25 x 10, 8, 5
Cable Rows 2 sets @ stack x 6

what's kind of grip you using with the rows?

Looks solid, keep the weight up and we'll see if you can get 4 plates on each side of your row;)

I've gotten 3 and a quarter on each side...

I use palms down... wide grip. When I grip on the inside, on those heavy weights... well... I got a stinger about 2 weeks ago from that sort of movement LOL... so out wide... hits my lats more...

Love doing back... love doing legs... I love working out. The one constant in my life.

I must say that back and legs are my most favorite muscle groups to train. They can handle huge weights, plus they grow really fast.

My favorite back workout is:

Barbell Rows - 2x 5-12
Seated Pulley Rows - 2x 10-12
Partial Deadlifts - 1 x 4-8
Chins or Wide Grip Pull-Downs - 2 x failure
Shrugs (barbell or dumbbell) - 2 x 8-12
