HI
Spondylolisthesis is a slippage of usually the L5 vertebra forwards on the sacrum. It is common in gymnasts and others who do a lot of hyperextension movements, or it can occur in those who naturally have a more pronounced lumbar lordosis. Any exercise that puts you into a hyperextended position will either increase the slippage and/or cause you a great amount of pain. The best advice would be to go to a physical therapist to get some appropriate strength training exercises, but for now, it may be best to avoid hyperextended postures.
Hope this helps -
