Amino Acid & Protien intake?

I have done a search not found any answers or here goes.

I am 6' and 215lbs. I am taking in approx. 250 - 300 grams of protein each day. My goal is 1.5 per/lb body wieght = 323 g of protein. With my schedule this has been very hard to maintain daily. I know that protein is broken down into Amino acids. So, would an amino acid supplement help me reach my protein goal?

Or am I misunderstanding the difference in AA's and Protein.
Also if I am right, how much AA's should I take and how often?

hello CALVIN. first time i talk to someone with the same name as me! lol....ok i dont think its good if u look for an amino acid suppelement cause well its gonna be alot more money for the same thing. just buy a protien shake and a shaker bottle, easy as that. protein bars are ok but most taste not so good.

protein is amino acids. different protein sources have different amino acids. like veggies have incomplete amino acids cause they miss certen aminos to make that protein complete(i forget all the aminos to add up a complete protein). meat is a complete proteins. it doesnt mean it has ALL but it has and again im not to sure but i think its complete cause it has all the amino your body needs(that doesnt mean the other protiens are a waste, far from it). i think glutamine is not part of what make a protien complete but its an amino acid that is very welcome to many bodybuilders supplement list.

hope i helped
