Toronto can build on last game's 6-4 win against the Capitals Friday when they battle the Sabres at HSBC Arena.

Sporting an 8-6-2 overall record and a 2-3-2 mark within the division, the Maple Leafs aim to knock the Sabres (2-4-0 in the division) for a loss.

The Maple Leafs come in as slight 105 road favorites and look to improve on their 8-6-2 mark. The Sabres, 7-8-0 will try to bite big as a home dog. Totals bettors see the line opened at 7.

Toronto's offence went wild last game, firing 6 goals against Capitals and there will be lots of OVER bettors Friday if fans see that trend continuing. They were favorites in that game.

Lindy Ruff's team was busy last game losing to Carolina 5-3 as 120 underdogs. The 8 goals sent that game over the total of 6.5.

Some trends to consider:
Toronto is 1-10-1 SU in its last 12 games after scoring 5 to 6 goals
Toronto is 5-2-0 OU in its last 7 away
Toronto is 5-1-0 OU in its last 6 games against Buffalo
Toronto is 5-1-0 OU in its last 6 games
Buffalo is 5-1-0 OU in its last 6 games against Toronto
Buffalo is 2-4-0 SU in its last 6 games after scoring 3 to 4 goals
Buffalo is 2-5-0 OU in its last 7 at home
