Rocking!! I had someone around to spot me on squats & leg press, so I really pushed myself!
~ Supersets-
~ plate loaded seated cybex leg extension 25 lbs x 12, 30 x 10, 30 x 10
~ plate loaded seated squat leg press 180 lbs x 12, 250 x 12, 270 x 10
~ Stiff leg dead lift
~ 40 lbs x 16, 50 lbs x 16, 60 lbs x 12
~ Free weight BarBell Squats
~ 135 lbs x 10, 155 x 12, 185 x 8 unassisted, had help with 2 more....
~ Calves
~ 90 lbs x 30 reps - 3 sets
~ Dumbbell Walking Lunges
~ 20 total strides with 20 lb dumbbells, then 25's, then 27.5's
~ Dropset leg press
~ Cybex Eagle leg press machine
(weird, the seat goes back when you press...)
210, 150, 90 (10 reps on each weight setting for a total of 30, 2 sets)

It was sooooo great! I really felt strong. Some @$$ commented in the gym last night that my thighs were going to 'blow up.... even MORE' if I kept going with my leg press, extensions, and squats. It really annoyed me, but he then went on to say "that's what my legs do anyway, and I'm not pushing much more weight than you are". Hmmmm..... insecure because a girl has strong legs, maybe?

Girls look great with muscular legs, it is also great to see women pushing their lifts and training heavy and progressively.....as far as 'blowing up', you do that in the kitchen, not the weightroom......great work and consistency.

IP... MY BUTT *is* hurting today. I'm sure it's a combination of horseback riding on Sunday and then last night - but ouch. And I'm sitting all day in a training class again today!

I hope he was! Other than pushing a good amount of weight, I was wearing shorts last night (usually in pants or capri pants). I got a bit bummed out because personally I thought the legs were looking pretty good~ more toned, slimmed down a bit.

Cardio this AM - 20 mikes stationary bike, random cardiovascular program, HR around 130-140

25 minutes treadmill, alternating-
- TWO MINUTES interval running @ 6.6 mph, incline at zero
- TWO MINUTES recovery walk @ 3.8 mph, incline at 4

Back tonight for biceps and back w/my trainer.
 
Finally bought glutamine (sp?) today - Vitamin World is having their monthly sale so I got the buy-one-get-one-free deal.

Goal this week- drink lots of water!! 4 liter/day minimum.

Back to training for this girl!
