Sassy: July 2006 - 41 & CA Bound

A day of wait & weight. I still need to discuss a few aspects of my job package w/ the HR chick and I haven't heard back from her yet. So I waited all day for that call. Then I said "F-it" and hit the gym.

I've had a raging headache for the last few days probably tightly associated w/ the pull I did to my right shoulder earlier this week - worked it out at the massage therapist yesterday but still is tight. So I get to the gym & wonder what the hell I'm gonna do there. After 6 min of warmup accompanied by some Metallica S&M, I was "into" it -- knocked out another 8 sets of Javorek BB Complexes. I'm not sure I'm real excited about these because the cycles are supposed to be limited by the lowest weight you can lift of all the 5 exercises in each mammoth set. Well, by the time I get to the push presses, I got not much left, which keeps my max weights for the cycle low enough that I dont' feel a workout.... Eh, well I'll still be looking for some sort of route to go -- essentially over the next week or two I have to see how my work schedule falls out and gets going....

20 min stairmaster

Ball cable abs (super)
- lower abs + upper abs: 60/20 + 20 x 3

bent over cable abs: 80/20 x 2 obliques: 80/20 (L/R)
 
Well what the hell is going on here? Every damn thing I do makes something hurt. My right scapula was annoyed w/ me cuz I was doing cable abs (pulldown motion).

Exploring the idea of just doing cardio for a week.

Took yesterday off.

AM cardio (omg....!!!): 30 min stepper

PM cardio: 15 min elliptical + 15 min stepper
Abs:
- fitball - lower abs + upper abs - 20 + 20 x 3
- cable pulldown abs: 20 x 2
- cable pulldown obliques: 15 x 2

For shits & grins, tried pull ups - yep -- back started pinching. dammit.



Other stuff:

House: no action

Job: verbally officially accepted the job offer in ATL. Start next Monday.

Yahoo for the new job, boooo for being sore, that does suck. Is it maybe cause of stress and being tense??? maybe a massage would help? :heart: :heart: :heart:

I need soem help...(when) LOL...
I was off weights for about 10 days, the strangest ting happens to my body...
When I AM training, the estrogenic fat, is there visible...and so is the worked muscle, defined maybe at 80% cut...I look larger weigh same.
When I lay off weights at most 10 days, I shrink in size, which is obvious do to muscle fibers, right? Well here comes the strange part...the estrogenic fat...plain old cellulite...
disappears to regular sight...I am less defined of course because muscle is not being worked by weights...(i still do HITT or some sort of cardio)...stairs, jog, brisk walk (which is another subjetc I will look into with you later) LOL...
Bottom line, why does celulite seem to disappear? I am going crazy...
The only logical explanation I could find in my head, is that there is only a last layer of fat clinging on in between muscle and subcutaneous skin, so it shows more because I MAY be lacking more muscle, or water, or who freaking knows what!!!!
Help!!! desperate Flor!!!
