Hello everyone! Hi!!!

I made an account a couple weeks ago but this is my first post.WOO HOO no longer a lurker!!! I am 18, 5 feet 6, 125 pounds and in university. I was raised on a fairly healthy lifestyle and had quite an active childhood. I danced ballet for twelve years and really enjoyed it, but in the past two years I have been taking Modern Dance classes through the university and they are absolutely wonderful. That's pretty awesome! Major talent right there. EF ballerina! Last summer my boyfriend, a member on this site, taught me more about eating healthy and designed a workout for me. I have been working out steadily with weights since July and I've learned a lot but I still feel like I know so little. Presently I am working out 4 times a week with weights and attend two 1.5 hour intensive modern dance classes. The classes will soon be over though, due to the term ending and so I will have to resort to cardio, but I am unsure of how to do this properly. Good for your bf to direct you to us! Have you read the other stickies? I see you found this one :) Great that he introduced you to weights, do NOT fear the weights! I try to eat very healthy. My general meal plan is:
Breakfast:
2 eggs, 1 slice of multigrain toast, orange juice and a grapefruit

lunch:
yogurt, oats, cut up apple and raisins
protein shake (20g)

snack:
two rice cakes, some peanut butter
fresh cut up veggies
protein shake (10g)

or oatmeal with bluberries and a protein shake(10g)

supper:
glass of milk with
either chicken breast with rice and salad
or steak and potatoes and salad
or beef stirfry with pasta and veggies

snack:
apple or banana with peanut butter sumtimes

I have a very busy schedule so I have weights at home, but they limit my excercises sometimes. This is my first year living away from the parents, and not in residence so I;m still learning how to cook, but I really enjoy it. Hope that is enough information to start with...I pretty much wrote a mini essay. I'm really excited to be a part of this site and learn as much as I can.
Thanks for all the info. We love mini essays! Your diet is healthy for sure. Best wishes with the year away from the parents, that can really be tough.

If you want any ideas about weight start your own thread to get some other suggestions. Several ladies here to welcome you & offer great advice!

Welcome to EF!
