I trained there for about 10 years. It's a great gym... 3-4 warehouses of equipment... best of everything.

Also, add working out at the muscle pit on Venice, Beach to your list. If you hit Gold's you should hit the pit too.

SG, how much is Gold's Venice? I'm going to join Gold's/Redondo at the end of the month and I wonder if they're all similiarly priced.

I have been to golds/venice a long time ago 1978 i was only 18.Thats when Arnold,Franco, and draper were still working out there. At that time I paid 8 bucks a day to work out just for a week. while i was on vacation. I also got talked into a seminar with Franco and Arnold for $60. Great place to visit alot of the pros at that time workout outside and alot of people are around.

Every true musclehead has to make that trip to the mecca at least once in their life. Check-out the whole freak show on Venice Beach by renting a mountain bike and riding up to the Santa Monica Pier. Call Gold's first, but if I remember correctly from the last time I was there, on the last Wednesday of the month they have a party with free food.
