Thanks for looking in. I have starting to diet again to get trimmer for my holiday in 10 weeks and looking to lose around 12lb. I currently intake around 2200 cals a day macros around 40/30/30. However between 6pm and midnight i am literally starving. Between these times i normally have 1 table spoon of natual peanut butter and a protein shake and maybe a peice of fruit (spread out over the 6 hours) but i am finding i am still very hungry in these times and wondered if some of you could reccomend some filling foods with little carbs for these times. I have done a few cuts before and have always had a similar diet plan and have not struggled with it for some reason this time seems to be diffrent.

Thanks Crossy

Throw in a chicken breast and some green fiberous veggies. I dont like fruit that late in the day. Youre probably starving because youre hardly eating anything in that time.

Sound advice right here. Also Salmon is great at night because you are getting natural fish oils and slow digesting protein from it.a piece of salmon with some steamed string beans or broccoli is a great night time meal.

Thanks for the advice.

I eat my dinner around 5pm which consists of fish or chicken with veg and jacket potato so taking into account my calorie intake or 2200 for the day do you not think the extra chicken breats or fish would be to much? There is not much room for changing my meals through out the day either.

Thanks again

If staying lean i like to keep carbs to min myself after 6pm.
I have WHEY ISOLATE shakes and cottage cheese before bed sometimes.

BINGO! There is your best choice...

I've been mixing BSN Dessert protein with no fat cottage cheese curds w/ some water! Tastes amazing and it's ALL slow releasing protein... Keeps you full and allows you to sleep and grow all night long!

Thanks for all the replys :)

@ Tatyana

I am currently around 190lb i totally fucked up over the christmas period, i pulled my hamstring and used it as a excuse to take time off from training. I didnt train for around 12 weeks. I started back and i was around 190lb (in my avatar i was around 175lb) and by lookin i have added a fair bit of bodyfat. I started training again in March and even though my training is going ok i havent found it as easy to get back into my diet and cardio as i thought i would. I know this is just down to me being un-motivated. However i have 11 weeks to hit my goal of 175lb and lose some of this fat i have gained. On the upside of this i feel i have gained some muscle over the last few months. So when i get to my goal weight im sure by BF% will be less than it was at that weight last time.

Anyhow enough of my self pitty...

I am up around 10pm and i train 3-4 days a week around 3pm. My cardio at the min is pretty much non exsistant, i am not making excuses but i broke my foot a couple of months back so it sorta prevented me from doing any, but its feels much better now so i will start cardio tonight prob a 30 min run and up it to 40-50 next week. And then add some ECA in the next week or so.

My daily food intake looks something like this.

Breakfast: 2 Weetabix

Snack: Whey ISO

Lunch: Small Grilled steak on Brown Barm or Chicken Sandwhich

Snack: Whey ISO or Tin Of Tuna

Dinner: Steak/Chicken/Fish Jacket Potato

Snack: Spoon Of Natural Peanut Butter & Piece of fruit

Before Bed: Whey ISO and sometimes a glass of milk

All the whey is with water and my extra EFA`s come from Flaxseed/Cod Liver oil caps etc.

Thanks again

So you are up for about 14 hours but you only eat for the first 7?

What's funny about that picture?

I would break your calories up into 5-6 even amounts and then eat every 2-3 hours and see how that works for you.
