I've genereally used my whey protein (protein shake) right after my workout, and I'll begin using them in the morning, since they work quickly. However, I'd like to know when to eat teh egg white, cottage cheese, tuna, chicken, ground beef, and so forth.
I know cottage cheese is good for the nighttime, but I always mix it with Grape Nuts cereal to create an excellent cheesecake-like meal, so I doubt i can eat that at night.
Speaking of Grape Nuts, 1/2 cup of it has just 5g sugar and 6 g protein and lots of barley. I think it's a pretty good choice for a midday cereal to mix with cottage cheese. Is there anything out there that's better?
