Whats my BB bench max based on my DB bench stats?

I am about to start a routine in which i need to know my max flat bench, but i havent done it for close to a month (by the way i have only been seriously training for 2). Today when i did chest, i started with incline DB 3x8 at 85, 90, 95, then did flat DB 3x10,8,6 at 90, 95, 100. Given those stats, what do you guys think is about right for my max barbell bench? 250? 270? any help to figure this out before monday would be awesome.

You can´t answear that question just by looking at your stats. Have someone to spot you and start adding weights on the bar.

kind of apples and oranges. The only true test would be to give some rep examples that you are currently benching. To get better at benching you need to bench, skip the peripherals and eliminate the pumping tripcep work and just bench.

Generally though, your dumbbell work will be quite a bit less than half of your bench max. Not many 500 benchers out there handling 250-pound dumbbells. The dumbbells are a whole different beast

good luck on your max day!

terminator, i have been lifting recreationally for about 6, but only two months ago did i actually start getting serious with a real training split that i stick to, not just dicking around with my friends like before. 2 months ago i did all the things people post on here in order to get bigger and stronger (more water, protein, no carbs after 7, and just started creatine a few weeks back.) i should mention that this is not the first time in my life i have been serious about lifting, did the same thing as now about a year and a half ago.

anyway, i guess i will just go in and test myself with a spotter. it kinda messes up when i wanted to start my routine, which is why i came to the boards.

if anyone still has thoughts on the issue, let me know, i am very interested. also, do you think that 1RepMax charts are accurate? there is one on www.huskerpower.net, but i dont know if that can be trusted or not. thanks again
