the title says it. i hear alot that slow burning carbs and protein is good for energy. protein with slow carbs make me tired. anything sugary makes me feel like shit.

greasy salty mcdonalds makes me feel amazing. idk how or why but ill eat the shitty processed mcdoubles and mcchickens and have great energy for a workout.

so what does it for you dudes? im interested to hear how many mixed oppinnions there are about this

For your breakfast..

1. Oatmeal.
According to the American Dietetic Association, oat products are some of the best sources of soluble fiber. You can combine oatmeal with raisins, honey, and yogurt for extra flavor and energy.

2. Bananas. This fruit is packed with potassium, which helps your muscles contract. One per day prevents stiffness that comes from sitting at a desk.

3. Orange Juice. This drink is ideal for the morning and is extremely high in vitamin C, which helps you get the most iron out of other foods.

Fruits with a glass of milk work well for me.

You have to realize that whether or not a meal will energize also relates to the volume of food you are eating.

A glass of milk with a scoop of protein powder in it with an apple is very light on the digestive system.

A full bowl of oatmeal is not.

Both are great for you though.
