What does your diet consist of?

I am just starting a new high protien diet, in hopes of having more energy and strength...according to my boy this will do both as well as stabilize my moods!! (have a terrible time with my emotions) It includes 5 meals, approx. every 3 hours. Hoping I won't be too hungry with the reduction of carbs... :worried: Wondering what types of diets others are on to compare with my own...
 
Hi and welcome to the site!!

I eat several times a day and usually consists of variations of the following:

4 egg whites with salsa
skim milk with oatmeal &/or cereal (not all the time)

chicken/seafood/tuna/pork/turkey burger with sweet potato and/or veggies
homemade vegetable chili with veggie burger or ground turkey
white chicken chili
soup

tossed salad with raw veggies &/or chicken/tuna

calcium chew

chocolate protein bar (If I need a chocolate fix!!)

dinner is either soup + grilled cheese with added veggies & chicken
salad with protein
veggies with protein

I enter everything into www.fitday.com & see what my foods give me per day....
 
Lean proteins, protein shakes, Green Veggies, more Green Veggies, Eggs/Egg Whites, Almonds, Low Carb Tortillas, Yams.

Yup, that's about it.
 
5-6 meals a day - proteins such as cottage cheese, tuna, chicken, pork, lead red meats and carbs that have a low glycemic index (greens, nuts, beans). i get most of my good fats from nuts and olive oil. i also drink green tea during the day and a ton of water!
