A friend of mine was a detective... told me about a few of the interrogations he did personally... with sacks of apples, stripped power cords and heads in the toilet. Straight and narrow for me, yes siree, or at least until I get more power than they do.
Power corrupts. But I have met a few cops that seemed nice enough.

Warik, Wow now that was a rant. Not a good one, but still a rant.
I love to hear the" ticket quota" thing. NO such thing my friends. Yes writing tickets is mindless. But, a quota is not legal in any state I know of. Thats whats great about my job, I choose how much work I do. They cannot tell me how much to do.
And warik last time I checked speeding ticket was not a criminal offense??Which state do you live where it is????I would move

Matt-- I am really suprised at your comments about "all" cops..... I always thought you were above that... it seems to me that you have a had a bad experience with the law.. To show you waht you are saying............ "I have had several bad experiences with Black people...... so I wish all of them would lose a child" Pretty fucked up comment now..don't you think?? It kills me when people bad mouth "all" police officers...... did you ever stop to think that maybe the reason that they are fucking with you is because you "DID SOMETHING WRONG" ? It's funny how everyone hates the cops until they need one....... OT.....has anyone else noticed that when people talk about 911 (New York) that they only talk about the 300 firemen killed?? There were also approx 70 policemen killed....... but they don't talk about them...... BOT--- I have ran into my share of cops that were dicks and treated me a little rougher than was necessary (due to the way I look----like a pitbull on a leash) but I always treated them with respect..... even though I knew I could rip them in half if I wanted too... they were just doing there jobs and protecting themselves......... and poon daddy was right about attitude.... it has saved me from tickets and from going to jail (when I should of gone) several times........... so to all of you that bash the Police....... a big FUCK YOU

So, you acknowledge the fact that police officers give speeding tickets to innocent people?

I don't know about you, but my logic tells me that a person is either guilty or not guilty, a criminal or an innocent person. If a cop writing someone a ticket does not imply that the cop finds that person to be a criminal, then the only logical conclusion would be that the police officer realizes that he is giving a ticket to an innocent person and proceeds to do so anyway.

Quite the respectable profession, wouldn't you agree?

Fantom, thank you. Many of thses comments are ATTITUDE showing up in text!!!!! My god if they acted this way on a traffic stop, oo hell yea I would give them the Bone. The sad part is I dont like to deal with a Dickhead at work, Home, the gym etc...

Most nights I dont even write violations. I figure my job is to drive in your Hood to protect you,your family, car and house. I cannot do that if my ass is up on the freeway writing tickets. Now not all guys think as I do. Sorry. Those of us that are of my mind set and see another officer coming in with 6-or so tickets Shame the FUCK out of him. But again some guys ARE KNOBS.

Lol. Pardon the bluntness, but BS. I have friends who have had perfectly polite, respectful attitudes with cops who have stopped them. Responding with "yes" instead of "yeah," referring to the cop as "officer" or "sir," having license, registration, and proof of insurance ready before the cop reaches the car, etc and have all gotten tickets without fail for petty offenses. I was victim to the same.

Now, let's think back to the cop a few weeks ago who made a left turn from the incorrect lane through a redlight and almost caused a 3-car accident.

Thank heavens there was another police officer nearby who stopped the offending cop and gave him several tickets - yeah, RIGHT!

Warik , I dont think you have a grasp on what a Criminal offense is. TRAFFIC IS NOT CRIMINAL. MURDER,RAPE A&B ARE.
Speeding is a CIVIL INFRACTION. In as far is being innocent or guilty.
Question is as follows, was this person speeding? yes or no. Its not very involved?!
I have yet to issue a vio to an INNOCENT person. They may think so. But for POON to stop ya, you have to be going at least 15 over.
YOu cant go to jail for a speeding ticket!!!!!!!!!!!

He's a good cop now because he blew his brains out, a real tough guy! Fucking pussy.

to be fair to poon daddy it would be understandable if he were an asshole, which he isn't. If 95% of the public don't want you around, or maltreat you (the same people who will call on you if their house is broken into or their wife is raped) it would be understandable that they develop a hatred for the public at large for it.

i don't hate cops for writing traffic tickets. i could care less about that. Its the power to psychologically rape you that cops have that i am afraid of.
