Here is what my current diet looks like. The weight gain has plateaud for the last 10 days so I need to add more food. where would suggest adding calories in?

meal one:
1.5 cups oatmeal
1 banana
500ml skim milk
2 cups of 1% cottage cheese

meal two:
2 whole wheat bagels with all natural peanut butter
2.5 scoops of whey protein isolate

meal three:
4 servings of brown rice (good for 100 carbs)
8 oz chicken breast
2-3 cups of brocolli

meal four (pretraining):
1.5 cups of oats
1 apple
1 banana
2.5 scoops of whey protein isolate

meal five (postraining):
90 grams dextrose (in the form of gatorade)
2.5 scoops whey protein isolate

meal six
12 ounce baked potatoe with ketchup
8 ounce sirlion steak
500ml skim milk

meal seven
2 cans of tuna
2 tablespoons flax seed oil
10 gram metamucil fibre supplement

A simple way to add 2-3 hundred more calories is simply add a protein drink in between a couple meals, or add them to various meals. At typically 100 calories per serving, simple thing to do. This in fact will be sound EAA supplementation also along with naturally ocurring BCAA's or even added ones depending on the protein.

I always eat peanut butter on whole grain bread and drink a protein shake before I go to bed. And no I am not a fat ass. I am about 8% bodyfat currently and I am on a lean bulker. I have found if I eat some calorie dense food before bedtime this helps out greatly with being able to put on those extra needed pounds. I like to do this because when sleeping the body is at rest (repair) and it needs that extra boost. I also eat alot more carbs than what you are eating. If you are trying to put on size you need to bump up on the complex carbs also

I totally agree that there's nothing wrong with eating before sleep. I found this out because sometimes I'm just hungrier than a MF at night. Eating right also means listening to what your body is telling you. Eat when your hungry, not just to follow a routine. It's when your body is telling you that you need fuel to grow.

Yeah, it makes no sense to go to bed hungry....somehow the myth of not eating past a certain hour got started. If you are not in an energy surplus, this will in no way be stored as fat.

A simple way to add a few hundred would to have a 20g whey Isolate mixed with 40g of dextrose heavily diluted and sip on it during your workout. It has the side benefit of keeping insulin elevated, helps maintain your energy during the workout and ensures you drink enough water during your workout. If you're looking for more Calories, add a pasta and chicken breast meal an hour after your post workout meal; Pasta is very calorie dense but also want to keep the fat down and insulin up. Eating an hour after a post workout shake with whey will allow you to get a slower digesting protein source since whey is very quickly absorbed.
