Spatts, ? about cutting diet

I have read and reread your cutting diet and I am gonna give it a shot. Have a quick question though. Total calories for me to cut is too high. In your opinion where would you decrease kcal, carb, pro or fat? I would need to get around 1300 to no more than 1500 kcal at this time because my actvity level is extremely low due to a low back injury. I would geuss that the pro cal would be decreased cause I could only get maybe half that amount in one day. Current wt. is ~127 lbs. No idea what BF% is and would probably be really disappointed to find out. Thanks for any suggestions!

Just trying to drop a little. I have been pretty much laid up rehabbing a low back injury and put on almost 10 lbs it seems like overnite. Last time I had BR tested (caliper method) I was ~16-17%. When I am inactive, I tend to put on the weight very easily and I have this genetic thing with high BF%, meaning I fight it every step of the way. I am only 5'1" and every extra puond I feel. I actually feel heavier. Maybe pyschological but I feel that way nonetheless.

I took a nasty fall on a boat Labor day w/end and had a large hematoma next to my spine near the L4-L5 area. Pics showed good disc space but have not ruled out maybe disc protrusion. I have some sciatic pain and some chronic pain in that area now which seems to be aggravated by any weight bearing exercises such as squats, military press, etc. Also extended sitting and long periods of standing tend to aggravate as well. I have dealt with cervical pain and injury before but low back is new to me. Anyways, the only thing I have been able to do so far is to stretch in the am and try to maintain some flexibility and mobility. I would keep the pro kcals higher but not as much as you. I think any more than 150 would probably be overkill. I hoped the change in eating would help with losing the addt'l pounds with some moderate intensity cardio, like fast walk on a slight incline.

Oh, okay. Now I dont feel so ignorant. Seen them and used them before. They werent called somethin else, I just cant remember what. I think I have something similar lying around here somewhere. Perhaps the thick pieces of rubber they gave me in PT years ago would suffice? I have been utilizing those recently.
