Soreness after Cycle

Hi everyone....it has been almost four weeks since the end of my deca cycle. I am SO sore, my muscles and my joints, especially my shoulders. Does this happen when coming off a cycle? I also am very tired and seem to be lacking motivation. Was just wondering if this happened to anyone else!
Thanks for any input!

Ohhhh yes...it has happened to a lot of people....The After-Cycle Blues :(

As far as the soreness, I learned that the biggest benefit of AAS (IMHO) is the quicker recovery time. I didn't realize until after I stopped what a difference it really made! I felt like I had been drained of my superpowers! :bawling:

I got through it by trying to stay focused on my goals, then I dug my heels in, and moved forward..... :)

Hang in there!

If you plan on doing cycles in the future, get used to it. Try loading with creatine and a lot of water.

No, nothing of the sort. I was simply referring to the fact that some people experince almost no soreness when on cycle and a great deal when they come off, rather like a beginner getting sore all over again.

Yours is an entirely different situation, where you would be using a substance to both treat and rehabilitate a specific area.

The answer was, it depends. In your case it should be, as you should be able to successfully rehab the injured areas effectively while on. Also, the improved glucose uptake as well as increase in synovial fluid secretion can directly help the joints (see Temple01's thread).

In my case, no. Some improvement, but true joint injuries where the bone itself is damaged or misalinged are beyond even the magic of deca.

Thanks for your responses! Just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me.
Voodoo Lady- I feel the exact same way...zapped. But like you said, I just need to stick with it and work through it.

Arioh, I haven't used creatine, although I am using glutamine. Do I need to switch?

or if you keep your dosing light you could just never come off. I hear there are a few around here who do that.....

Welcome back to an estrogen based system. Those responses are perfectly normal. If you're attempting to continue training at juiced intensity, that will contribute further to a physical and psychological crash. You have to back off a little and let your body re-adapt to a non-androgen environment where protein synthesis and metabolism are reduced along with your ability to recover.
