I know as soon as I started taking the proper dosage of glutamine almost all soreness was gone, at least to the point where I could function without any pain on a day by day basis.

Yep I am taking it all. I think not lifting anything for months and then going so hardcore is what did me in. I think next week will be better :) I will just do what I can for now and rock it even more next week hopefully with less pain.
 
Glutamine YES 5 grams a day for you will do, thanks FC

Also just do cardio for 30 minutes and then massage your biceps after for a good 5 minutes

do 10 minutes of Bike, 10 minutes of Treadmill ( Jog) then 10 minutes of Stair Stepper

massage then stretch, massage then stretch.

Do upper body again when you feel you can go in without being an issue

Thanks! I will do this tonight :) Tomorrow legs should be no issue. My calves are a little sore, but not bad like my arms. I am a lot stronger in my legs so I am sure that is why my lower body is not as big of a problem. :)
 
I was gonna post this in the women's forum but brought it over here instead:

Yeah, I kept wondering why your upperbody was so sore when all I can talk about is how sore my butt is, lol. You must have really pushed yourself. Almost all my upperbody soreness is gone! So get better soon!

Ok, we are off to the gym! My DK's are already in the car, lol!

Yeah I have always been a lot stronger in my legs so they don't ever get as sore when I push myself hard. I guess it was all those yrs in soccer ;) Now I just need to get the legs back to looking as strong as they are under the soft cushion. lol I am feeling ok so I am going to kill lower body today. I am ready :) My upper will be ready for Monday.
 
Hello there, this is Dingo :) When I first started this program back in early January it kicked my butt big time, took me at least a couple weeks not to be sore sick, the high reps did me in for sure at first. Just don't kill yourself with heavy weight at first take it real easy and light, then over a few weeks you will add the weights over time...

Now three months later I feel great, still get that little soreness but in a good way, from the upping the weights a little bit every week.

But I am also tired because my Wife and I just had our little angel 6 weeks ago, baby Hana :heart:

Thanks for stopping in :) Congrats on the baby! I have two babies, but they are big now. I forgot what it is like to lose sleep. ;) Nap when the baby naps that is my advice to you.

Yeah I like to be sore because I know it is working, but overly sore kind of sucks. I am going to take it a little easier next week and hopefully after next week I will be good to go. :)
 
Man I am much stronger in my legs. I killed legs again last night and still not sore this morning. My upper body obviously needs to catch up with my lower ;) My knee is bugging me, but I have been wearing a knee brace during lower body and luckily is not a problem during workouts. It just has a dull pain while sitting bent,etc. Oh well I am used to it. It hasn't bugged me in a LONG time, but I guess bumping it under my desk set it off last week.
 
Forgive me Omega for I have sinned... ;) I was supposed to just go out and have sushi last night for my birthday. No big deal, but I knew I was in trouble when I talked to my friend on the phone yesterday. I ended up drinking alcohol. I will say the only reason it happened was because it was a party in my honor and I have not hung with these friends in a yr. Oh yeah and it was all free. Otherwise I would not have been so weak.

On the plus side usually a night of drinking turns into terrible eating and laziness, but I am normal today because I still have my focus. I am back on track and this will not happen again. Forgive me??? :heart: I promise no more drinks for me I only get the change to go out and drink like 3 times a yr anyway. lol
