Should someone be the "boss" in a relationship?

The girls pretty much covered it, it's ok if he has a bit more power but not for him to try to overpower you and tell you what you should or should not do, you are not 5 years old you are not obligated to do as you're told even if he buys you a damn house you are not a puppet and you are entitled to your own opinions and actions based on your own judgement.

Bottom line is that if he does not respect you, constantly disrespects you, and intentionally hurts you than all of his other qualities go out the friggin window.
