Typing up the workout program for next week, starting tomorrow, and have a few questions.....will be doing the week of Feb 21st....

For Back, what is the differences between: Stiff Arm Pulldowns & Pulldowns to the Back (Rope Attachment). What are Hypers?? I assume that with the seated Rows - overhand grip, one would use a straight bar with the palms facing the floor?? (I usually use the V-bar myself)

And is that correct for Chest day -- only 3 exercises??

Straight Arm Pull Down (kinda)

Pulldown to the back, Just swap this bar with the rope

If it says straight bar, use the straight bar...sometimes he wants to you pull the your boobs, man I hate rows...

Hope this helps ;)

You know, I tried to find pics of all that stuff & couldn't!! Thanks Bun Bun!!

No pulldowns to the back for me tho....shoulder's too sensitive...

Wonder if I could use the machine for the hypers?? We have a seated machine where the pad sits on your lower back & you push back.....

Shoulders too dodgy for the pulldowns to the back??

Try the rope and see...I bet you can do the,...face AWAY from the weight stack

Well, when I do pulldowns behind the back/neck....my shoulder pops in a weird way and it hurts a little....

As for the rope, etc....sounds like a tricep move. Or are you talking about move the arms without bending the elbows??

Good morning BTW.... :coffee:

its the same movement as a regular pulldown.....

the rope:

1 - allows each shoulder to find its own groobve

2 - allows a GREAT midback comtraction

...the elbows aew bascially static throught out the movement....try them at about 50% od the pulldown tot he front weight

I cant do regular BTN pulldowns either but I love the rope

1) I will try it...

2) Since I can't picture it, it still sounds weird....

3) Another ? --> do this standing or sitting??
