Seriously, why are girls so messed up?

Ok, I have been seeing this chick for a couple months now. We both went home during the summer but continued to talk everyday and then we both came back to school and hit it off very nicely. We basically had all the relationship qualities minus the title of "bf gf". So I finally asked her yesterday what we were. She's basically not ready for a relationship. So like wtf! and then after that discussion we ended up sex! and she was a virgin!

what kind of mixed signals am I getting here, seriously?

Is it hard for you to believe that you can connect with someone without having the title of bf/gf? Do you have to have that title for it to make sense? Your situation sounds pretty normal to me, but then again I'm probably just a messed up chick.

I think if I had to go through all the shit they do, I'd probably be pretty screwed up too. I can't imagine having to put on makeup, wear funky clothes, have a period, high heeled shoes, shave all the body hair constantly, etc, etc.

I guess things just felt pretty serious to me. I fucked up by asking her about this stuff too soon - I will admit that. But dont you think losing her virginity to me on the same night that she said she didnt want a relationship is mixed signal?

Hard to tell what was going through her head. Maybe she felt that you were a safe risk to lose her virginity to (IE someone she can trust not to hurt her). Take it as a compliment... she's comfortable with you. Obviously she does like you, but that doesn't mean she's ready to settle down either. It sounds to me like you have a great relationship with this girl so if I were you I wouldn't risk blowing it by pushing her to change her mind about the bf/gf thing. You're both young... just enjoy the time you have together. Worry about the rest of the drama later.

More likely the answer is no. Girls like to keep their sex lives private for fear of being accused of being a slut and having the guy their with look down on them. But it would be hard to comprehend a girl being a virgin and giving it up in that manner, but it could be.

Here’s the good news, this chick likes you and your getting sex. But being in college and all she is reluctant to be tied down. Now if this is a girl you like, you could play your cards cool and see what happens. More likely then not you’ll be fuck buddies for a while until she meets another dude. But since you may have been her first it sounds like you could be the guy in and out of her life all through school. College romances are very complex, try and not pour everthing you have into this chick, I have seen many a dudes get destroyed this way.
