RESULTS of my 30 day EXTREME Cut. Lost 17 lbs

Congrats, sounds like you knew what what you were doing.

My Maintainence during this cut was probably around 4000 calories and I was eating about 2000-2200 so I was at almost 2000 deficit a day. Not healthy or recomended by any means, but I did this just to see how much I could do in the 30 days.

Probably a newbie question but what do you mean exactly by the maintainence calories? How did you calculate the 4000 maintainence calories per day?

What did you use for the 30g carbs after workout? And if you don't mind me asking, what kind of steak did you eat with the eggs?

I'm trying to find lean meats right now so any suggestions would be helpful.

I usually ate 3-4 Rice cakes. They have a glycemic Index of like 115 so it spikes insulin very well. Hell I think Maltodextrin is only 120 right?

The best tasting lean steak is Sirloin, but its about 7.99 a pound regular price. You can substitute lean porkchops, chicken, or salmon as well.

Really nice work!

I am the same weight now as you were when you started in April, and my goal is exactly 178 pounds :)

So I will follow these accurate guidelines you posted, but will try and accomplish this in 7-8 weeks.

Thanks a lot for a great and detailed post.

Awesome, That will be alot more muscle sparing. In no way shape or form do I recomend going as fast as I did unless it is absolutely necessary. Take your time and do it right.

how much of that was water??? u gotta have a HUGE caloric deficit per day to lose that much that fast.

I agree. Not to put down your accomplishments because any way you slice i t- what you've done is impressive. YOu look great. But 17lbs of fat in 4 weeks is not a good goal to set out for. And to NAIL it like you did implies you knew what you were doing. Which also leads me to ask how much you implemented that knowledge into your before pics - you must be holding some bloat in those.

On second thought, I am on the fence about calling bullshit. Something weird is going on here the more I think about it - fat loss slows way down the longer you go, and the leaner you get. My question is:

How come fat loss didn't slow for you once you were at around 10% or so? My guess is you are usually that lean or have at least been there before and just dropped back down - much easier to lose fat that way especially when in the single digits.

I'm knit-picking here and, again, congrats and nice work dude.

It was probably alot of water, I sodium depleted and everything to get max results. I'd say at least 5-6 lbs was water weight. My calorie deficit was really high though. My Maintainence during this cut was probably around 4000 calories and I was eating about 2000-2200 so I was at almost 2000 deficit a day. Not healthy or recomended by any means, but I did this just to see how much I could do in the 30 days.

My Goal was not originally set at 17 lbs. I just wanted to see what the max I could do in 30 days was. I was motivated by the Before/after shots in magazines and wanted to prove I could do better in 1/2 the time.

And yes, I was lean before. I got lazey and spent 6 months or so eating like crap and sitting on my ass. Decide to get back in shape.

And I assure you, It is very real. Fat loss did slow for me...Read my posts on the 1st page for detailed description. At the 2 week mark, I cut carbs almost completely and began HIIT.

This diet is not health or recomended by any means, but I did what was necessary to achieve my goals. ALL NATURAL (except EC stack)
