post post workout

Hey guys and gals

ok so post workout i'd get a shake (whey+glucose+aminos etc)
(I have this at 9pm)
then i'd wait till 10pm and eat veggies and some protein like chicken or egg whites after but as of late (possibly due to the intense heat)
i just cant be bothered to eat. I know this is not good so i decided to just make a metrx (has 40g protein, 20g carbs) with ice cold water and i could handle it, didnt require preperation and stuff

I was just wondering though is this a good idea or would i be better of with real food?

If thats what you can get down then its better than nothing! Im not really too familiar with Metrx, so not to sure what the protein is made up of, does it contain any casein?

My only concern would be that a liquid meal would be digested so quickly that it is going to leave your body craving nutrients through the night which might make you more catabolic. If there is casein in there it will minimise this time.
 
well at least the casein will give u a sustained release of amino's over a longer time period...
 
that's what i was thinking too fat rat :D

trouble is i think i rely way too much on sups :(
I think i will probably replace my 11am whey + flax combo for some salmon with lettuce or something instead that way im getting propper whole food. What do u think?

I dont remeber your whole day meal plan, but sounds a good to me.

To be honest, I rely far too much on sups as well, but I'm in an office environment and they are the only real viable option.

yes it's easier for me to just mix up a whey shake in the office rather than open a tin of salmon, i can do that bt then ppl complain about the smell of it hahaha
