Hey guys!

Quick tidbit about me - I'm currently give or take 185-188 lbs. I've been working out with a trainer since august (2-3 times a week) It's pretty intensive workout routine. In the past week I've also incorporated mensworkoutguide.com routine to beef up my cardio since I haven't really done much. I've seen changes in myself - physically and my strength has improve. I am not sure about body fat to be honest, I'm still holding a tire around my stomach/back but i can see a little cut forming where my abs would be. This is my diet thus so far:

8AM
Cup of Egology egg whites.
1/2 cup of 1% milk
1/2 cup of high fiber cereal
One scoop 25g protein ISOPURE
TS of Flax oil.
Mega Man Multi
Vitamin C

11AM
Handful of Almonds
1 Apple
(thinking about adding 25g of protein isopure)

2PM
2 Breast of Chicken
1/2 Cup Steamed Broc
2 Scoops of Mashed Sweet Potatoes

5PM
42g Protein Myplex

7PM Workout

9PM
50g Protein ISOPURE W/Scoop of Oats
Sometimes I mix in with milk and natural pb and Flax.

930PM
2 Chicken Breasts
Sweet Potato.

10-11
Cottage Cheese or Cup or cup of Milk

Any thoughts on this diet? I mix it up with fish at times. I was taking BCAA's pre and post workout too, need to buy some. I'm looking to beef up my muscles but cut the fat. I am keeping my cardio at 19 mins 3 days a week and increasing a tad each month. Any thoughts, suggestions?

Thanks guys

looks alright, I'd drink a gatorade though post workout with that 50g shake of yours.
Try to find out how many carbs the shake has, and supplement enough carbs to match the protein.

Also, where is your bedtime shake? - Casein !

(thinking about adding 25g of protein isopure) (Good idea, or another meal like 2 pm)

2PM
2 Breast of Chicken
1/2 Cup Steamed Broc
2 Scoops of Mashed Sweet Potatoes (Good meal)

5PM
42g Protein Myplex (I would have some sort of carbs before working out, and eat a wee bit closer if possible, fruit would be good)

7PM Workout (you need a PWO shake, either just protein or protein and carbs almost immediately after training)

9PM
50g Protein ISOPURE W/Scoop of Oats
Sometimes I mix in with milk and natural pb and Flax. (Are you training for 2 hours?)

930PM
2 Chicken Breasts
Sweet Potato. (Add in some veggies)

10-11
Cottage Cheese or Cup or cup of Milk (Cool, you may need a wee bit more protein though)

Cardio first thing in the morning is best to cut fat.

I would also alter your carbs to baby new potatoes or brown rice, some other whole grain every now and then.

Otherwise, looking good............

Im nervous to lose muscle mass if I do cardio in the AM. My cardio is usually done after my workout 3 days a week. Would i do the cardio before or after I eat? The casein id assume would be in the Cottage Cheese or glass of milk? Any suggestions to mix this up. Hey guys thanks for the input btw. I currently am taking ISOPURE chocolate - has 3 grams of carbs, what can i mix into that? Also about the gatorade, i dont know if that would taste great - I may test it out anyones - what flavor u recommend?

8AM
Cup of Egology egg whites.
1/2 cup of 1% milk
1/2 cup of high fiber cereal (what is this cereal?) - Yes, i went to whole foods, i forget how much fiber it has but it was the highest on the shelf and the healthiest
One scoop 25g protein ISOPURE
TS of Flax oil.
Mega Man Multi
Vitamin C

11AM
Handful of Almonds

5PM
42g Protein Myplex (I would have some sort of carbs before working out, and eat a wee bit closer if possible, fruit would be good) - Any suggestions? Should i still keep this in and at 6 down something else?

7PM Workout (you need a PWO shake, either just protein or protein and carbs almost immediately after training)

9PM
50g Protein ISOPURE W/Scoop of Oats
Sometimes I mix in with milk and natural pb and Flax. (Are you training for 2 hours?) - Anywhere from 1hr-2hrs yeah hence the protein shake. This is taken immediately after I workout.

930PM
2 Chicken Breasts
Sweet Potato. (Add in some veggies) - K

10-11
Cottage Cheese or Cup or cup of Milk (Cool, you may need a wee bit more protein though) - Downed a tub of Cottage Cheese is that enough or do you have any suggestions for something else?

I think it looks pretty good overall, though in your PWO shake I would sustitute oats with dextrose/maltodextrin or fruit. Or you could drink a gatorade with it as suggested. Fat seems pretty low in this diet, what are your macros? Do you know the name of the cereal?

If this were my diet, I would also alternate in a couple cans of tuna for the chicken during a meal every other day or so. Repost your diet once you have it refined.

gatorade fruit punch 20FL oz and 2 scoops of Proteinfactory.com BIG BLAST seems to do the trick for me for a POST WORKOUT meal.

ummm i dont use cottage cheese cuz it makes me bloat... as in most dairy products for me, for some reason.
I use proteinfactory.com night formula

Ill repost tonight about the cereal - and I will def rework my post shake tonight, ill swing down the choco. iso with water then put the gatorade in it. Ill play with it. Thanks for the feedback thus so far. Today i had salmon, brown rice and broc for lunch, changed it up a bit.

I couldnt find the same brand but i bought All-Bran. I also had the grape gatorade with my drink tonight. Unfortuantly i had hardly any energy tonight to workout and my trainer told me to take it off - i did 20 mins with him which was pretty intensive but still ive lasted a lot longer before - i think its bc i cut down on all my carb intake this last week and a half and bc im also training myself? Anyways, im taking friday off to recoop its been 4 straight days of training. Any thought on this?

I am currently eating sweet potato, 2 breasts of chicken, handful of spinach with lemon dressing it and one slice of wheat toast. I also had some raw sushi - tuna, salmon, and some white one no clue.

Anyways, Monday im suppose to start a super intensive workout, i better beef up on some carbs this weekend.
