Please take a look!

as long as you get 30-35 grams of protein every 2-2.5 hours during the day, and take your pre and post wo shakes and night shake you'll be okay.
Keep whole grains and such in your diet as they are slower digesting carbs, eat faster digesting carbs post workout to absorb the proteins faster.
Other than that, just remember when eating tuna that it does contain mercury.. so just dont eat it ALL the time..
Basically, it'll take you some time to fall in a direct discipline diet...

My boy iv'e been training w/ doesn't have an exact diet down like me, hence my size over his, and i always rub it in his face.

Anywho... just eat a lot and train hard... and respect your rest..
if your body is tired, then rest and eat...
if not... beat the truck outta it.
Remember that photosynthesised (sp) greens are potent energies, so eat your salads.

stay away from fast food...
AND be willing to drop atleast 20 bones on food a day...
it's expensive, but if u wanna be a body builda , u gotta eat choe cown bread (ronnie coleman)

Im nervous to lose muscle mass if I do cardio in the AM. My cardio is usually done after my workout 3 days a week. Would i do the cardio before or after I eat? The casein id assume would be in the Cottage Cheese or glass of milk? Any suggestions to mix this up. Hey guys thanks for the input btw. I currently am taking ISOPURE chocolate - has 3 grams of carbs, what can i mix into that? Also about the gatorade, i dont know if that would taste great - I may test it out anyones - what flavor u recommend?

Steady state, so walking/cycling on an empty stomach is one of the best ways to burn fat, it has to be longer though, usually around 45 min.

Some trainers do recommend taking BCAAs or a protien shake, maybe a wee bit of carbs, like orange or grapefruit juice.

Coffee is also great to help keep the glycogen being used initially, after glycogen is gone, your body starts to use fat.

Cardio after training is the next best thing for burning fat, just not after leg day..............................

I am not a fan of gatorade, one of those processed foods IMHO, fruit is cool.

Up to you though, try out a few things.

I couldnt find the same brand but i bought All-Bran. I also had the grape gatorade with my drink tonight. Unfortuantly i had hardly any energy tonight to workout and my trainer told me to take it off - i did 20 mins with him which was pretty intensive but still ive lasted a lot longer before - i think its bc i cut down on all my carb intake this last week and a half and bc im also training myself? Anyways, im taking friday off to recoop its been 4 straight days of training. Any thought on this?

I am currently eating sweet potato, 2 breasts of chicken, handful of spinach with lemon dressing it and one slice of wheat toast. I also had some raw sushi - tuna, salmon, and some white one no clue.

Anyways, Monday im suppose to start a super intensive workout, i better beef up on some carbs this weekend.

My concern with breakfast cereals is that they are still processed, and the processing process will have the carbs have a much higher GI, they have been broken down already.

Read the ingredients carefully, I think you may be surprised to find out how much salt and sugar is in some of them.

You guys are incredible thanks for the feed back. I'll keep you all updated. I might start incorporating a cycle / walk into mornings for a month see how it goes. Ok its 645am and im about to down my cup of whites. Thanks all thus so far.

Hey guys!

Quick tidbit about me - I'm currently give or take 185-188 lbs. I've been working out with a trainer since august (2-3 times a week) It's pretty intensive workout routine. In the past week I've also incorporated mensworkoutguide.com routine to beef up my cardio since I haven't really done much. I've seen changes in myself - physically and my strength has improve. I am not sure about body fat to be honest, I'm still holding a tire around my stomach/back but i can see a little cut forming where my abs would be. This is my diet thus so far:

8AM
Cup of Egology egg whites.
1/2 cup of 1% milk
1/2 cup of high fiber cereal
One scoop 25g protein ISOPURE
TS of Flax oil.
Mega Man Multi
Vitamin C

11AM
Handful of Almonds
1 Apple
(thinking about adding 25g of protein isopure)

2PM
2 Breast of Chicken
1/2 Cup Steamed Broc
2 Scoops of Mashed Sweet Potatoes

5PM
42g Protein Myplex

7PM Workout

9PM
50g Protein ISOPURE W/Scoop of Oats
Sometimes I mix in with milk and natural pb and Flax.

930PM
2 Chicken Breasts
Sweet Potato.

10-11
Cottage Cheese or Cup or cup of Milk

Any thoughts on this diet? I mix it up with fish at times. I was taking BCAA's pre and post workout too, need to buy some. I'm looking to beef up my muscles but cut the fat. I am keeping my cardio at 19 mins 3 days a week and increasing a tad each month. Any thoughts, suggestions?

Thanks guys
Nice post, i also have gotton some ideas from this.IMO i would carb tapper after 5-6 pm, that is how i cut ( get defined) best. I find thoughs late night carbs(exept cottage cheese) bloat me up. My evening is a can of pink salmon and cottage cheese. Big blast of protein and omega's.."ff CC".

My biggest concern i guess is my preworkout drink - I really need some energy. I was totally bummed yesterday when for the first time I had to give up after 20 mins. Granted I was sweating like a pig but I just felt weak. I ran out of NO Explode, not sure if that stuff did anythign anyways to be honest. Any ideas on powerful predrink and how long before i workout should i drink it?

I drink No Xplode about 30-45 minutes prior, and have Xtend during and sometimes after. Energy for me is pretty good with this, recovery is excellent.

By the way, is it just me or is No Xplode - fruit punch one of the most delicious things you get to have during the day?? Man I could drink that shit all day!

It is pretty good i have to agree - but i dont know, i guess it does do something. I will have to get some NO this weekend and incorporate it to see if i can make it this week without crashing like last night. BTW My lunch right now:

2 chicken breast with spices
brown rice - cup
broc - 1/2 cup
black beans - 1/2 cup

BTW I eat at Know Fats a lot. Love that place.

I would imagine that your crashing recently is temporary, b/c it appears your getting enough carbs throughout the day pre-workout. It's good that your starting to switch it up with brown rice, yams, etc. My diet isn't all that different than yours, I eat a little more fat though. My last meal before lifting (about 2 hours prior) is a protein shake and ANPB, and I have never really crashed like you are describing. I'm sure ANPB isn't the secret, but you may try adding a fat (or even a high-glycemic carb as someone suggested earlier I think) with the 5pm shake if it doesn't work itself out.
