Bro, no matter what she hid something from you and then lied about it. Not a good thing at all. Her story is easy to verify and I'd give it almost 99.5% she lied.

I've been in this situation before where you refuse to see the writing on the wall because you have deep feelings for someone but step outside the box for a second. If a good friend told you that story, what would you tell them to do? It's harder when it's you, true.

I'd deal with it a couple of ways: #1 tell her you don't trust her ex and check her reaction. If she agrees you're probably okay, if she defends him she's probably banging him. If that doesn't convince you then just dig a little deeper. Or you could just talk to the other guy - he likely left that receipt there on purpose just like you thought so it would cause a problem. If he's tagging her then he'll probably tell you straight up.
