okay, so does anyone have this kind of luck with women?

Oh Chesty......I think Nef is right. Not replying to a new yrs eve txt is not cool.
When I was dating my ex, I was like this girl a little. I was not serious about my ex b/c he was 12 yrs younger than me and I didn't want to get close to him.
When he finally sat me down and asked me if I was in or out, I thought about it and stayed, but I did keep it very superficial for 5-6 months like this girl seems to be doing.

she has been upfront about her having a wall up because she doesn't want to get hurt like she did in the past, but has also said she wished she knew how to take it down.

I think she could be testing me to see if I am really not like the other guys that have hurt her and maybe, over time the wall will come down. But if not, I will survive and move on to see what else is out there.

so how would I bring up the fact that she did not respond to my text?

yes, we are sleeping. she drove to TX with her dad and yes that is a fact and since we have only been dating for 4 months and her famil is ultra christian plus the fact that I am 12 years older than her wouldn't sit well. Especially with her mom and sister. anyway, I am taking care of her house and her dog and cat.

fyi

people use this "i have a wall" excuse all the time. it allows them not to get "too" close in case they want to make a break or in case they want to cheat. that way they can justify their behavior.

that is also true. that is why I am just gonna ride it out and keep my defenses up a bit more than usual and just see where this goes. She is either gonna be honest with and has not done anything wrong or she has not been honest and is doing things contrary to what she told me were her beliefs against cheating, lying etc.

So we shall see. I am sure when I found out which way it goes I will post up for you all to dissect!

no way, your all just a bunch of armchair psychologists. hehe
