Newbie close to the show XPERTS --ADVISE

I am 8 weeks out for my first show.. its small but it will be my practice show.. i am doing cardio 30 min morning 30 nite..lifting heavy 2x week .. boy am i see results with that .. (my personal trainer is wonderful ) anyway

i need to cut more body fat.. should i now cut out the starchy carbs

ie : sweet potatoes, low carb tortilla's etc.. and my peanut butter has to go i think ????

PLEASE ADVISE.. i am now at my crossroads! :chomp: .. and i value your opinions YOU HAVE BEEN THRU THIS NIGHTMARE: LOL ;)

you nend toup the weight training and back of the cardio....


if its taking 7 hours of cardio per week...yo are eating:

1 - toomuch

2 - the worng things




you post is identical to one a little further down
 
1)30 minutes of AM cardio each day should be sufficient.

2)I would also bump up the weight training to 3-4 days per week.

3)A detailed post of your daily diet would be great.

4)Don't mix fat and carbs in the same meal. Meals should be Pro/Carb or Fat/Pro.

5)Replace some starchy veggies with fiberous green veggies.

6)You may want to add a fat burner such at Themorexin or Levorex.

if you are stuck with a protein and carb shake and its:

1 - last meal b4bed

2 - it will be a long time between meals


..the fat will help string out the digestion
 
My trainer is going to take pic of me tomorrow I will show u .. and i will post my diet..

1) Don't get stuck with a protein carb shake. I don't even think shakes should be used as a source of protein right before a show. Concentrate/isolate has near zero carbs should you go that route.

2) Carbs don't slow done digestion, but fats do.

3) Carbs before bed has been shown to hinder GH release.

LOL

no of that has anything to do with my points...

1 - Having a longer perioid of time bewttn meals do happen occasionally

2 - yes fats slow digestion....thats was exactly what I said previous post

3 - Carbs also blunt cortisol so its a break even situation.......
