Newbie...CKD...carb reinduction..You guys rule!

Hi. I used the CKD diet to bulk for 4 months and also used it to cut for 3 months. Started at 172,went to 202, I am now down to 178 and still have some body fat but I am just flat hammered from this diet, my lifts are tailing alot. my diet. Thanks, you guys are the best. Oh yeh. I have been on 2200 calories for a few months, how should I increase that?
 
Common problem w/CKD's. Watch out for the rebound if you aren't careful!
Your thyroid and leptin levels are close to shot if you haven't had a carb re-feed in a while!

how should I increase that?
that sounds about right... unless you have a very fast metab.... as far as carbs go... start low 50/day... and gradually increase.... make sure they are all low GI as well
 
Thanks for the replys. ...Tailing, I mean that lifts are about the same then one day after a carb up I can only w/o with 240 on the squat as opposed to 250. My strength drops a bit. I thought about adding 25 grams of oats pre w/o and then 25 g. of dextrose post and then adding 25 grams of low the next week, then 25 grams of high the week aftre that (PWO). Do either of you have exp. with CKD bulking. I just read something where a guy had 3 total body workouts per week with 1 set, 10 exercises. 1 light (20 reps) Wed., 1 moderate (15 reps), and one heavy on Saturday after carb up. He said he put on 8 pounds of mass in about 3 months with minimal fat gain. His carbups were 18 hour, 1000-1400 grams with 3400 calorie CKD through the week. I loved the bacon and cheese all week. This regualr eating plan might be tough at first, any thoughts.
 
No....Gained about 7 pound lean and rest fat. I had a rough holiday and went buck wild on the carb ups. The first 6 weeks, wehn I was following CKD bulk protocol, I put on 4 pounds with no fat. If you do it right and keep workouts short and intense, you can blow up. You have to love bacon and stuff like that or you will get burned out. Do this:
Synday,Monday,Tuesday- 20 body weight ckd < 20 carbs. Wednsday- only EFA. Then fast for 4 hours and eat the biggest pancake you can make with lots of syrup and 30 oz. milk with 3 scoops of whey, then do lower body 2 hours later. Thursday,Friday-25 x body weight CKD <20 carbs. Saturday eat 1000-1500 grams of low fat carbs and lift first thing Sunday morning. Do cardio after the Sunday workout, monday morning, and a long walk or jog Friday morning. I stopped the cardio for 8 weeks, that is another reason the fat started coming.
