Hey guys as you know I was out of lifting for a good 3 weeks with being sick and I pulled a muscle in my low back. Well Monday was my first day back really and today we had a High School meet. So monday all I did was warm up barX5, 95X5, 135X5, then 185X1(pause) 225X1(pause) and quit. then went to clean&jerks and got of course my usual 175lbs(which I've never been able to pass for some reason).Then after these two things I went ahead and did a static hold since I was gonna throw it in after workouts and I first held 315lbs for 10 seconds, then held 335lbs for 10 seconds and racked.
Well today at our meet I did AWESOME I warmed up bench as follows:

Open: 225(blew it up like it wasn't shit)
2nd:245(blew it up better than 225, b/c I was more angry)
3rd: I was gonna go 255 to not be disappointed but my coach told me with as easy as I got 245 if I go lower than 260 he was gonna kick my ass so I went 260(blew it up pretty decent)((NEW PR)) I was told by 3 diff judges that were coaching I would've gotten 270 or 275 with a bit of a struggle but GOOD.
Clean&jerks(hate these, not good at them)
warmed up with 135X2
Open:175(good lift)
2nd:185(good lift)((NEW PR))
3rd:195(good lift, better than 185 on my drop and throwing elbows)(NEW PR)
then for the hell of it I went 4th attempt and got 205( I broke the 200 barrier I had on cleans).
All these lifts were done at a 181 bodyweight, I competed in the 183 weight class b/c I took off all clothes and shoes and Placed 2nd place out of 6 lifters. If I would've competed in the 199lb weight class I would've taken 1st place.

So I might just stick with cleans, ARIOCH your help with pulling yourself under the bar really helped. PLJAY your help with hating the weight helped out ALOT ON BENCH. And grimm your advise of repeating to myself what's the last thing I have to do HELPED A TON I was repeating to myself when cleaning "pull myself under the bar, pull myself under the bar" and that's the only thing I was focused on.
