I used to volunteer with a rescue agency when I was in high school and had a lot of experience with these kinds of things. I helped to socialize feral kittens and let me tell you! That takes some kind of patience, love, and willingness to get scratched up. But it was always so rewarding when they would end up in good homes. All of the people I knew who fostered the animals loved each and every one and they made absolutely sure that the animals went to good homes.

I will be sure to pass this information on to my girls so they won't be too heart-broken when the time comes they have to give their pets up. They all know (I don't need to say it) that their pets will be abused, neglected or *disappeareded* like OUR cat did the next day after my girls gave up how he was abusing them over 4 years ago) their pets can't stay behind in Jersey. It will be VERY comforting to them and makes me feel better that I now have a good solution for a problem that I KNEW would cause a tremendous amount of hurt for my children in addition to all the other hurting they are and will be going through.

Thank you Nef.

I can't post in here anymore, This thread went from bad to worse to ridiculous

HR good luck with the cat and please let me know how she is ok. If you need any more help if she is ill, let me know

Give her to someone who will love her. Seriously, heather. Animals are messy, it happens. If it makes you hate the animal, you shouldn't be owning it in the first place. Don't bring her to the pound, take her to a rescue agency that has a no kill policy.
or put up a free ad on Craigs List

Maybe he will find a more loving family.
Jesus christ, you guys act like I abused the freaking little monster.

Nothing could be further from the truth. don't forget I RESCUED HER from the pound, have fed her, gotten her shots, petted her, doted on her, etc. In return she had RUINED thousands of bucks worth of stuff.

and I'M THE BAD GUY HERE?

SHEESH
