Most Efficient Exercises (EMG Testing)

I read somewhere that it is not valid

Besides,

"Hamstrings

* Standing leg curls - 82%
* Lying leg curls - 71%
* Seated leg curls - 58%
* Sitff-legged-deadlift - 56%"

I mean, come on... we don't need sophisticated measures to know that this can't be true

Why??

Isolations will hit hams more "effeciently" than stiff deads if not done to specifically target the hams as lumbars take over

Best - more muscle fiber recruited.

Think about it - technically a "pure" isolation should hit more fibers than a cimpound movement....its why dbs hit more fibers than bb....and isolations hit more fibers than compounds....makes sense to me

I like doing a compound exercise then finishing off with an isolation. Nothing fancy but effective.
