Mixing Low Carb and Low Fat? Help :)

Hey all, i need a bit of help. I am going to go on holiday with my family soon so wont be able to train anything other than cv and any at home training methods i can find. So for me, it is obvious that watching my bf% and cutting down is easier than bulking.

I always watch what i eat, my carb intake is usually limited to a high fibre cereal at breakfast, and two slices of wholemeal bread with two or three out of the other five. I cut carbs out at night. I have read a thread from someone asking if he could mix carbs and fat, and a lot of people said no.

My question is, if the range of food available is restricted, is it ok to go from low carb one day, to low fats on another, eg tuna and chicken sandwiches being fine to eat as a meal, or would this hinder my progress? Any light shed on this would be great. Thank you :p

can you try and keep them balanced through the week? as for fats and carbs the trick is NOT tp do trans/hidrogenated fats and high GI carbs (think donuts, etc).. Good fats and low GI carbs are ok in my book (salad with olive oil???)

anyway, it is holidays man, try enjoying yourself and don't over do it...sometimes your body needs a rest before going to the next level (I'm taking 3 weeks off in December and the only thing I will do is run a bit here and there)

I am starting various jobs after i get back including a job at a gym and brazilian football/soccer coaching (depending on nationality!) I eat healthily as a general rule, but i think i should shred a bit of bodyfat, i am lean in normal persons terms but not bodybuilding terms. The easiest thing for me to eat as a meal is again chicken or tuna sandwiches, but i wondered if getting rid of the wholemeal bread would make a difference. I tried tuna wrapped in a large lettuce leaf last night and it was surprisingly nice, could be a good substitute. Basically, should i carry on with this diet or try and cut bread out when possible? thanks for your reply, you feature in practically every post i have read in the last couple of days, you forum surfer you :p
