Measurment Question

This may be a dumb question but I have to ask it. When you are mesuring out for example 4 oz. of pasta. Do you go by volume (fill a measuring cup to 4 oz.) or do you go by weight (put a bowl on a scale and fill it till you get to 4 oz)????

No dumb questions .. def. weight :)

I also usually weigh out my foods i.e. Oats for example, to grams b/c my measuring cups can be off :) Depends on how accurate you want to get, and where you have room for error .. sometimes there is no room ... :)

I also just started weighing my ANPB ... those tablespoons seem to get pretty large & heaping ;)

damn it bunny!!! your going to make me starting weighing my one treat of the day??? damn you!! i think your right on this though....prob better to weigh...i do get huge scoops from the tablespoon haha...

For comparision purposes, just SEE the difference ... lol I can see you will be discouraged ... unless you purposely use a larger spoon & divy it up that way ... :D Sorry hun, little tweaks can make all the difference, if you NEED them.. if you don't? then break out the spatula
 
lol i hear ya bunny.....i'm in btwn my strict dieting and bulking phase right now so i'm eating healthy....but i won't really hesitate if it's 10pm and i want a bowl of oatmeal (which i did last night :) )...i'm getting close to my bf % goal.....but i also have been dieting for a LOOOOONG time and think i can use like a 4-6 week bulking phase and then start the viscious cycle again. still undecided... so i'm not going to start measuring just yet
