Would a bulking diet that gives 39% fat, 23% carb, 38% protein work? I mean, I know it would because as long as you have excess calories and are training correctly it would be fine, but I was concered about the higher fat content. It's coming from eggs and red meat. The diet consists of those and oatmeal, mainly. Veggies/fruits here and there, and sometimes safflower or flax oil. Those are just the staples which are easiest to get.

So, even though the fat content is up there, would this be okay?

it depends on your metabolism. I have to eat lower fat or I will gain a little more body fat. If your body can process the fat fast enough, you should be alright.

Uhm, that has nothing to do with it. I was more looking for the opinions of Jkurz, Debaser, Juve or some of the more experienced people.

You will gain the extra bodyfat from excess calories.

True, but if the excess calories are coming from fat they are more likely to be stored. It is easier for the body to store fat as fat than either carbs or protein.
