Good PR!!!! But doing it after a week off with "the flu " tells me one definate thing....you are over training!

I know the first thing that comes to your mind is "BULLSHIT DEEPSQUAT"!!!!!

But think about it ...your "FLU" was not really the flu...it is one of the mechanizims that the body uses to get you to stop going to the gym...this is not a theory I pulled out of my ass , it is well known that many, colds, flues and sore threoats that weight trainers get are not caused by virus or bactiria...but the body, rebelling! Reread some of the posts by DC and Iron addict...you fit the mold perfectly.

I would agree. But you'd be surprised that just about NO ONE on this board thinks they are overtraining. Believe me I've tried.

Interesting viewpoint Deepsquat, truth is, I was sick, I got it from my brother who got it from his GF. Pass along kind of thing. Nice effort though. lol :)

Interesting concept, but I had the flu horribly for the last week and it all occured while I was on DC training. I HIGHLY doubt overtraining was the culprit. I know a ton of people who have been getting sick lately. Lets ease up on throwing the overtraining card at everything fellas.

I heard from a friend that when you have a little cold, or a higher temperature than usual, you temp to be strong and burn fat quicker. But in the case of a flu... it's a little too much.

i'm pretty sure i was a bit over trained which could lower my immune system a bit, however about a week ago i managed to develop a 3day fever and bronchitis, so i do there's some pathogenic activity goin on. not to mention like 5 other guys on my floor had a fever in the past wk or so.

got it from you brother:bigkiss: I see....

Good job on the pr, guess you need to eat more you skinny bastard.;) Keep it coming and make sure to relxa and go slow on the SLDL
