ketosis question for the intelligent people

started my cutter yesterday and all is well so far. I have'nt touched a carb as yet mainly because i have some water to shed first. I would then 'usually' just stick to carbs in the morning and/or after training. I understand that when i enter ketosis, say maybe after a couple of days, you start feeling much more energised, which i am feeling today anyway (with help of an EC stack). Should i just stick to no carbs and aim for ketosis? I'm thinking this mainly because if i start hitting the morning carbs i may start to feel sluggish. Have a training session later too. Should i just opt for protein post-workout?

Advice is appreciated. Gracias.

I've been doing this for 2 months so far, trying to stay at near 0 as possible, which is impossible i know, but i'd say that the max amount of carbs i eat a day are around 10g counting the carbs in meats and such.

I feel perfectly fine without 'em. I also supplement with lots vitamins; zinc, chromium, mutli-vitamin, vitamin e, folic acid, ala, etc...

and fiber.

Now with that said, with zero carb eating i am able to to Rock Climb, and on my off days Cycle 20 miles within an hour and 10 minutes, you do the math to see what my average speed is.

I was weighing 185, i am down to 154 now, aiming for 145 (to climb) the thing is, i have before pictures, and comparing them, it seems like my target muscles have actually gotten bigger, which i don't see how if im not eating carbs. My forearms, shoulders, biceps, and back are massive now in comparison to the before picture. even people tell me that i look more muscular and stronger.

Gracias for the response bro. I know what you mean about the size. I do need to look at a few more things in detail. First off i need to look at my supplements and dosage intake, just as you mention, especially magnesium, which (from what i've read) can play a major role in keeping sugar cravings under control. I also need to include some flaxseed oil (just a couple of teaspoons a day) alongside my fish oil supp. I'm going to start taking my vitamins just before I go to bed at night too. Two reasons. One, it will helps me set up a habit so that I don't miss taking my vitamins each day. Two, I don't go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, therefore, I don't eliminate the vitamins out of my body as quickly... they stay in body longer, and therefore, do me more good. Another thing is i need to eat MORE. Taking extreme measures to lose weight is not a the way to go i've realised and 9 times out of ten lead me to a binge session. I've noticed i have been suffering from major brain fog during the day, which can only be put down to not eating enough food.

Any other comments welcome.
