Im healthy and still cancer free (knock on wood) :) I'm off everything cept c & zinc :) ... dragging ass & tired too . :)

my condition is is symptematic relief....i cannot fix degeneraitve disks. i have to stretch, do therapy, and get my cortisone shots. i'm afraid that much weight is too much for the back to endure. docs don't even want me lifting but i'll hear none of that...

My GP recomended cortisone for my shoulder. I talked to my physioguy & he said that was a last resort. Can cause more damage by accelerated degeneration. Is that true? :(
 
don't know about that....the dosages i got i was told there will be no long term damage whatsoever. this is just to keep the inflamation at bay so it's not causing me pain. the probelm is still there and always will be...unfortunately they are irreversable
 
todays workout...yes i lifted this morning b/c i'm refinancing my apartment and my closing is at 5:30 tonight...and i knew when i got home around 7 i would not want to hit the gym. i had to drag my ass out of bed at 4:50...uuugggh!!!

flat hammer strength superset w/ decline db's 3x15,12,10

flat fyles superset with cables crossovers 3x15,12,10

cables crossovers galore from the bottem 2x10
****i really want to concerntrate on getting some better definition in my chest so i'm going to do more flyes and crossovers and just one press exercise each chest workout. suggestions are welcome :)

bent over rows 105x15 115x12 125x10 stopped there ...lower back started hurting again....pisses me off to no end...without lower back injury i could prob be doing 185x5 easy...i've hit that before about 6 years ago...really want to try and get there again. too much stress for the back to handle though even when form is strict and elbows tucked.

btn pull downs 120x12 140x10 160x6

seated rows 120x15 140x12 160x8

rope pull overs 1x15

Sorry about your back.... Ever tried teh hot tub? Does your gym have one?!? I have been using ours for the past few weeks after my WO's to do my stretche's in and it makes a world of a difference.

tre- yeah i take hot baths all the time :rainbow: ...it helps a little....i have also tried stretching in there but it's difficult.

yep refinancing at a 5.875 fixed 30 year...i was originally at a 5.125 5 yr adjustable rate mortgage....only 200k more left to pay on my apartment :evil:

Good rate in the 30 yr. Can't get that around here. 200K on an apartment? Is it on Central park?
